Programme: A Journey of Folk Culture Exploration in Nanjing

Partner Institution: Nanjing University

Period: December 25 - 31, 2023

During the trip, which included visits to Nanjing University, the Six Dynasties Museum, the Presidential Palace, Niushoushan, Zhongshan Mausoleum, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the Imperial Examination Museum, and Huangshan, I built up some general insights regarding the history of different dynasties.

China Vision is a comprehensive program that aims to showcase China's rich history, culture, and achievements. By visiting these diverse locations, I have gained a deeper understanding of China's past, its culture, natural beauty, religious, and education system.

The most impressive aspect of the program could be the opportunity to witness the continuity and preservation of China's ancient history through places like the Six Dynasties Museum, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, and the Imperial Examination Museum. These locations offer a glimpse into China's rich cultural heritage, allowing visitors to appreciate the country's long-standing traditions and history.

The program might have also highlighted China's commitment to education and intellectual development, as evidenced by the visit to the Imperial Examination Museum and the lecture talk at Nanjing University. These institutions symbolize China's historical emphasis on education and the pursuit of knowledge.

Additionally, the program seems to showcase China's religious and natural beauty through visits to Niushoushan and Huangshan. These scenic spots offer breathtaking landscapes and a chance to appreciate the country's diverse geography and the history of religion.
