Programme: Yao Culture Study Tour in North Guangdong

During this trip, I deeply experienced the unique charm of Yao culture and appreciated the stunning scenery of Shaoguan. Upon arriving in Ruyuan, we took part in the bamboo pole dance, where we danced flexibly between the moving bamboo poles to reach the other end. Additionally, we visited natural scenic areas like Shendushui and Danxia Mountain, where the stunning landscapes made me marvel at the wonders of nature. Being away from the hustle and bustle of city life, I found solace and harmony in the beauty of lakes and mountains, reconnecting with nature and enjoying the fun of the wilderness.
What impressed me the most was the bonfire party on December 25th in front of the B&B. Everyone gathered around the bonfire, singing, dancing, and twirling while feeling the warmth of the fire. I deeply felt the simplicity and warmth of the Yao people. I was able to relax in the singing and dancing, leaving behind all my worries.
All in all, this trip provided me with a deeper understanding of Shaoguan and Yao culture, opening my eyes to different possibilities in life. I will always cherish this unforgettable experience and hope to return to Shaoguan someday in the future to continue exploring the unique charm of this historical city.
