Over the past month, I have been interning at ACS Technology in Shenzhen, and this experience has been both refreshing and fulfilling. This is my first internship, and I feel very fortunate to have been selected for this program. I stepped out of my comfort zone to intern in the Greater Bay Area, which provided me with an excellent opportunity to adapt to a slightly different lifestyle. I am glad that I took this step. This internship has allowed me to engage with a real workplace environment and learn many valuable lessons. 

My main job duty was to investigate the overseas marketing strategy for passport readers. Throughout this process, I gained insight into market research, learned how to analyze data, and wrote reports. During the internship, I was able to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations, which deepened my understanding of what I had learned in class.

During this time, I experienced the workplace rhythm and pressure. Arriving at the office on time every day, autonomously completing tasks, and updating my internship supervisor instilled a sense of responsibility in me. This experience has made me more mature.

Another challenge of the internship was collaborating with two other interns to complete our report. At school, assignments are usually completed independently, while in the workplace, teamwork and effective communication play a crucial role. We had to share the workload and collaborate to overcome difficulties. I have learnt to leverage my strengths within a team and respect the opinions of others.

Overall, this internship has been immensely beneficial. I have not only enhanced my professional skills but also strengthened my adaptability in the workplace and my ability to work in teams. I look forward to transferring these skills and knowledge acquired from this internship to my career in the future and continuing to learn and grow.
